Minimalist How-To: Consolidating DVD's & CD's

When it came to our DVD's and CD's I knew I really didn't want to get rid of all of them. We enjoy having movie nights and although we do have Netflix and Amazon to watch from I didn't want to rely solely on them. I was working on moving around books and other items so I could move out a big piece of furniture and create more space in a hallway. So consolidating DVD's and CD's was necessary. I browsed around on Amazon and found this cd case. It worked wonderfully! It held all our DVD's and most CD's. (I will probably still purge items from the case, but this was to get us started) and it is sturdy. It stands on its own so it fit perfectly on our bookcase.

I went through and put all DVDs and CDs that I wanted to keep in the pockets. All the cases except for some of the cd sleeves I threw away. This alone emptied two shelves for us that I could use for other things.

We saved a ton of space and we have an easily transportable case for our movies and cds.
